Specialist Women’s Health GP

Employer: The Women’s Health Hub
Location: Jersey (Channel Islands)
Salary: £14,500–£16,000 per session annually (depending on experience)
Sessions: 4–6 sessions per week

The Women’s Health Hub, Jersey

The Women’s Health Hub is seeking a Salaried GP with a Special Interest in Women’s Health to join our growing specialist team in Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated women’s health service focused on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care while offering exceptional opportunities for professional development.

The Role

As part of our specialist team, you will provide consultations across a broad range of women’s health conditions and concerns, including:

  • Menopause and hormone health
  • Contraception and family planning
  • PMS and PMDD
  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
  • Endometriosis
  • Menstrual disorders
  • General women’s health and wellbeing

We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and have designed our service to allow clinicians the time needed to deliver thorough, personalised consultations.

What We Offer

  • 4–6 sessions per week, with flexibility to suit individual circumstances
  • £14,500–£16,000 per session annually, depending on experience
  • 30-minute appointments as standard
  • An average of 8 patients per session
  • Protected administration time
  • Dedicated clinical and administrative support
  • Modern, specialist clinical environment focused exclusively on women’s health

Specialist Training & Mentorship

A unique feature of this role is the opportunity to receive ongoing mentorship and education from our in-house Consultant Gynaecologist. This includes:

  • Advanced hormone health training
  • Regular case discussions and clinical supervision
  • Structured professional development
  • Support in developing advanced expertise in women’s health and further posrgraduate qualifications

This role would suit a GP with an established interest in women’s health, as well as those looking to further develop their specialist knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold current GMC registration

The Women’s Health Hub is seeking a Practice Nurse with an Interest in Women’s Health to join our growing specialist team in Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dedicated women’s health service focused on delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care while offering exceptional opportunities for professional development.

The Role

As part of our specialist multidisciplinary team, you will support women across a broad range of women’s health conditions.

IN time we would like to develop nurse-led consultations, cervical screening, health assessments, patient education and preventative healthcare services while working closely with our GPs and Consultant Gynaecologist.

We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and have designed our service to allow clinicians the time needed to deliver thorough, personalised consultations.

  • Have experience working within primary care, general practice or a community healthcare setting
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a strong interest in women’s health
  • Be committed to delivering outstanding patient-centred care

Desirable:

  • Cervical screening qualification and experience
  • Experience in contraception or sexual health services
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Previous experience in women’s health
